Marty Chafin, President and Co-Founder of Chafin Consulting Group, has over twenty years of healthcare experience.  Her expertise is in the area of healthcare planning and marketing, assisting clients with strategic decisions based on market-driven analysis.  Marty obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, with a Health System concentration, from Georgia Tech and a Master of Science in Marketing degree from Georgia State University .  Marty received a Health Services Administrators’ Development Program Certificate from the University of Alabama Birmingham and is a designated Managed Healthcare Professional (MHP) by the Health Insurance Association of America (HIAA).

In addition to her consulting work, Marty is an adjunct faculty member of the University of St. Francis in Joliet , IL .  Marty has taught masters’ level Health Services Administration Program courses for USF since 1999 including the Health Services Planning & Marketing course and the Research Methods course.  Marty teaches both online for the university and at their Atlanta campuses.

Anne Finlon has over twenty years in the health care finance field.  She is currently an independent health care consultant specializing in certificate of need and strategic financial planning services with the Chafin Consulting Group, based in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to becoming a consultant, Anne was Chief Financial Officer at several Georgia and south Florida Hospitals for 16 years.  Before working as a Chief Financial Officer, Anne was Director of Financial Planning at a south Florida health system and Senior Auditor/Consultant with Price Waterhouse.  Anne holds Master of Business Administration, Master of Health Science, and B.S.B.A. in Finance degrees from the University of Florida  She is a Fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional in the HFMA specializing in the areas of financial management of physician practices and managed care.

Joy Davis White has over ten years experience in health care planning.   Joy specializes in certificate of need, outpatient services planning, and government relations.  Prior to joining Chafin Consulting Group, Joy was Director of Strategic Planning at several Georgia hospitals.  Joy was also Senior Health Systems Analyst at the Georgia Department of Community Health for several years.   Joy holds a Master's of Public Administration, concentration in Health Care Administration, from Albany State University and a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology from Clark
Atlanta University.
